My first e-book, Dragon Rider's Woman, will be released by my publisher, Siren Bookstrand, on Wednesday October 26th.  I'd always dreamed of publication with a big glitzy book launch and all my friends and family celebrating my success.  Instead, I get a release (I guess that's more suitable for a writer of erotica) on a mid-week working day with no celebrations at all (well, maybe just the one glass of wine!).
Nevertheless, I know I'll be excited on the day, if only on the inside.   This is a major landmark for me and one I'm very happy to have reached.  I've written a variety of books in a variety of genres, some of which have received positive feedback from agents and publishers, but nobody actually wanted to represent or publish my work.  It feels like a huge achievement to have had a book accepted by a real professional publishing company.
I'm 20,000 words into the sequel to Dragon Rider's Woman and I'm aiming to finish it by the end of the year.  I'll be blogging here at the start of every month to update you on my news and progress.  I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to leave a comment or send me an email via the address on the 'About Me' page.
I just finished Dragon Rider's Woman and I loved it. I'd love to know Caraden's woman. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.
ReplyDeletebooklover you have just made my day. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. I'm underway with the next book and I'll get it written as fast as I can!

ReplyDeleteI just bought Dragon Rider's Woman. If it has Dragons in it, I will read it. Specially if it is erotic. Keep on writing; don't let anyone stop you. You have a great future in store. I will be checking to see the progress on the next books.
ReplyDeleteNay Nay, thank you so much! I see from your blog that you are a champion reader, so I hope you enjoy Dragon Rider's Woman.
